2010 Home Sales Report

Home sale trends according to the Daytona Beach MLS has remained strong for the 1st quarter of 2010.  Most of the home sales in the Daytona Beach area are attibuted to foreclosures and banks expediting the short sale process for home buyers and home sellers.  Also, government programs that orringinate in 2009 such as the first time home buyer tax credit have contributed to the housing market rebound.  See Report

The average listing price for Port Orange homes for sale on Trulia was $265,236 for the week ending Mar 31, which represents an increase of 0.8%, or $2,205, compared to the prior week and a decline of 1.9%, or $5,169, compared to the week ending Mar 10.
